Obituary

Michelle Renee "Shelly" (Conley) Welch, 39, of Wolcottville died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday, April 7, 2008, at her residence.

Ms. Welch had lived in the Rome City area most of her life. She had made her home with Bill Tyler for the past 12 years.

She was born April 7, 1969, in LaGrange to Dana McClean and Charlotte Conley.

Surviving are her mother, Charlotte Conley-Lewis of LaGrange and her father Dana McClean; a daughter, LaKiesha Gilson, at home; two sons, Kenzie Welch and Casey Joe Welch, both at home; three brothers, Andy Conley of Wolcottville, Randy Heltzer of LaGrange, and Dallas Riley of Kentucky; maternal grandmother, Virginia Conley of Wolcottville; three uncles, Bill Conley, Rusty Conley, and Dick Conley; and an aunt, Janie Tucker.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 11, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. At the Ontario Congregational Church, 4160 N 225 E, Ontario, Indiana, with Pastor Dale Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Chapel Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the family.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 10, 2008, after 12 noon at the church.
