Obituary

Michael Lynn Griewank, 62, of Goshen and formerly of LaGrange died Friday, June 5, 2020, at his residence.

He was born August 21, 1957, in Rochester to John "Red" and Pearl (Wagoner) Griewank. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Griewank received his teaching degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. He retired as a substitute teacher at Lakeland School Corporation in LaGrange where he was an assistant football coach. Prior to that, he was a basketball coach at Rosedale, Indiana.

Michael was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, the LaGrange Masonic Lodge No. 399, and the LaGrange American Legion Post 215 Sons of the Legion.

Surviving are a sister, Beverly (Max) Lang of LaGrange; and three brothers, Richard Griewank of Paso Robles, California, Donald Griewank of Jackson Heights, New York, and William (Dianne) Griewank of LaGrange.

There will be no visitation or services.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
