Melissa Maria Albertson, 56, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at her residence. She was born September 21, 1965, in Clark County, Indiana, to Harry E. Albertson and Betty J. (Jackson) Dye. She had worked at Wells Fargo Bank in Fort Wayne. Melissa enjoyed watching law and order shows on television and cooking. Surviving are her father and stepmother, Harry and Bonnie Albertson of Scottsburg; a sister, Wyoma Feeler of Crossville, Tennessee; two brothers, Ronnie (Pauline) Albertson of Auburn and Clayton (Melinda) Albertson of Zanesville; and her beloved companion, her dog Layla. She was preceded in death by her mother; and a sister, Bonnie Albertson. There will be no visitation or services.
