Obituary

Melba L. Faulkner, 81, of LaOtto died Monday, October 4, 2010, in Kendallville Manor Health Care Center where she had resided for the past year.

Mrs. Faulkner was a 1947 graduate of Lafayette Central High School. She was a homemaker.

She was born July 21, 1929, in Fort Wayne to Clarence and Lillian (Henderson) Mallo. On December 21, 1955, in Roanoke she married Erle D. Faulkner. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2003.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Jeff Collins of Auburn and Robin and Damon Lewis of Churubusco; three sons, Randy Faulkner of LaOtto, Ricky Faulkner of LaOtto, and Russell Faulkner of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Mallo of Roanoke.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Lou Mallo.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 7, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Calling is Wednesday, October 6, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
