Megan Leigh Slone, 33, of Louisville, Kentucky, and formerly from Warsaw, Indiana, died from the results of an accident on Monday, October 31, 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born May 31, 1989, in Warsaw, Indiana, to John Edward and Kathleen (Smith) Slone. Her parents survive in Columbia City.

Megan enjoyed reading, drawing, woodworking, and riding horses.

Also surviving are two daughters, Brooklyn Slone of Columbia City and Parker Hale of Warsaw; a sister, Emily Ousley of Mishawaka; two brothers, Justin Ousley of Ashland, Kentucky, and James Leipold of Elkhart; and two nephews, Jason Ousley and Gabriel Ousley.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 7, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Harbor of Love Baptist Church, 2353 South Lima Road, Kendallville with Pastor Charlie Mosley officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials may be directed to the funeral home for funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the church.
