Calling: Thursday, January 30, 2014 - 2 to 8 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel ********************************************************************************** Mary G. Schmitz, 71, of Fort Wayne died Monday, January 27, 2014, in Parkview Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker.

Ms. Schmitz was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne.

She was born January 12, 1943, in Fort Wayne to Theodore and Viola (George) Davis.

Surviving are a daughter, Melissa (Michael) Shultz of Kendallville; three sons, Ricky Mooray of California, Robert Mitchell of Indianapolis, and Josh Schmitz of Fort Wayne; several grandchildren; two sisters, Angela Crouse of Fort Wayne and Deloris Gorman of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Michael Davis of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Theresa Orchard; and a sister, Rose Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 31, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 South Clinton Street, Fort Wayne with Fr. Peter DeeDe officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery.

Calling is Thursday, January 30, 2014, from 2 to 8 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
