Obituary

Mary Lou Lemaster, 68, of LaGrange, Indiana, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born March 19, 1953, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Marcus and Helen (Shiltz) Evans.

In 1972, she married Lester Junior Lemaster.

Mrs. Lemaster was a homemaker.

She attended Helmer Baptist Church.

Mary enjoyed playing BINGO, scrapbooking, and shopping. She loved to play cards and spend time with family and friends. Possessing a competitive spirit, Mary was the 1987 world champion horseshoe pitcher in the women's division.

Surviving are her husband, Lester Lemaster of LaGrange; three sons, Tommy (Gina) Little of LaGrange, Shawn Evans of LaGrange, and Blake Lemaster of Lagrange; six grandchildren, Michael (Alicia) Little, Tara Little, Joel Little, April Little, Joseph Elder, and Erin Evans; two great-grandchildren, Kade Willibey and Corbin Tuttle; two brothers, Mike (Shelly) Evans of New Holland, Ohio, and Dale Evans of Washington Court House, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Rosemary Briggs of Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bob Evans and Dave Evans; and two sisters, Helen Estle and Sharon Kay Evans.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Rick Davis and Pastor Michael Little officiating.

Burial will follow in Lake Bethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tommy Little, Joel Little, Scott Evans, Cory Evans, Michael Little, and Mike Evans.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the family for funeral expenses.
