Obituary

Mary Lee Jent, 76, of LaGrange died Monday, October 8, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born January 11, 1942, in Hindman, Kentucky, to Ruben and Goldie (Messer) Short.

She moved to this area in 1990, coming from Kentucky.

Mrs. Jent retired from Dometic Corporation in LaGrange.

She was a member of the Brimfield Revival Center.

Mary loved reading the Bible, listening to gospel music, and playing the guitar.

Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Hicks of LaGrange and Donna Abdurakhmanov of Waterloo; a son, Lonnie Jent of LaGrange; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Marie (Jim) Smith of Wolcottville and Ilda Ritchie of Rome City; and a daughter-in-law, Lan Thi Minh Jent of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Jen t; and two sons, Jonathan Jent and Michael Jent.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Brimfield Revival Center where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
