Mary Kathryn "Kate" Iddings, 86, of Wolcottville died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 12:49 a.m. in Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

She had lived in Wolcottville for 60 years and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Iddings was a former member of the Wolcottville American Legion Auxiliary.

She was born August 24, 1926, in LaGrange County to Samuel and Pearl (Scott) Rowan. On February 25, 1945, she married Warren L. "Bud" Iddings. He survives in Wolcottville.

Also surviving are three daughters, Jane (John) Higgins of Fort Wayne, Rebecca (Frank) Searfus of Coos Bay, Oregon, and Jennifer Iddings of Phoenix, Arizona; three sons, Michael W. (Cheryll) Iddings of Fort Wayne, William S. (Martha) Iddings of Indianapolis, and Jeff (Laura) Iddings of Howe; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann Leming.

Calling will be Monday, November 19, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North Wolcottville.

Funeral services will be private with Rev. Keith Perry officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.
