Obituary

Mary L. Bushing, 94, of Wolcottville died Sunday, November 1, 2015, at 11:25 p.m. in Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Mrs. Bushing was a waitress for many years. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the VFW Post in LaGrange.

She was born January 25, 1921, in Noble County to Cecil Patrick and Ethel May (Freed) Walburn.

On October 1, 1955, she married Raymond O. Bushing. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Kegg of Fort Wayne, Becky Bushing of Wolcottville, and Jeri (Jason) Crowe of LaGrange; two sons, Leon "Slug" (Debbie) Garrett of Wolcottville and Mike Bushing of Wolcottville; eight grandchildren, Christopher Stumphy, Nicki (Mike) Steed, Cory (Katina) Garrett, Jamie (April) Garrett, Samantha Rupert, Benjamin Rupert, Raymond Rupert, and Jade Kramer; 11 great grandchildren, Gene Garrett, Izik Garrett, Shaylee Garrett, Marcus Garrett, Breanna Garrett, Nathan Harrison, Jessie Harrison, Joel Harrison, Taycen Rupert, Isla Rupert, and Liam Jacquez; and a brother, Jack Walburn of Sheraton, Michigan.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Toby Phillips; two sisters, Ruth Keck and Dorothy Marks; and two brothers, Ralph Walburn and Charles Walburn.

There will be no visitation or services at this time. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
