Obituary

Martha "Virginia" Sexton, 97, of Waterloo, Indiana, died Monday, October 1, 2018, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana.

She was born August 30, 1921, in Ravina, Kentucky, to Andrew and Maude (Moberly) Johnson.

On January 29, 1948, she married Bradley Sexton. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2011.

Mrs. Sexton was a registered nurse, working at Drake Hospital in Cincinnati. She also served in World War II as an Army nurse.

She was a member of the 5th Avenue United Methodist Church, West Bend, Wisconsin, and a former member of Sharonville United Methodist Church, Sharonville, Ohio.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen (Doris) Sexton of West Bend, Wisconsin, and Andrew (Sandra) Sexton of Waterloo, Indiana; one granddaughter, Ashley Sexton and one grandson, Craig Ormson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Johnson.

Funeral services and burial will be Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, 11825 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, with Pastor Ann Wurster officiating. Honor guard services will be provided by the U.S. Army.
