Marjorie Ellen Gorrell, 84, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, died Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Lakeland Nursing Home in Angola. She was born February 5, 1937 in Wabash County, Indiana to Albert and Florence (Hoover) Sims.  On August 2, 1963, in Laketon, Indiana she married John Gorrell.  He survives in Pleasant Lake.  Mrs. Gorrell was a homemaker.  Also surviving are three sons, David (Stacey) Gorrell of Denver, Colorado, James (Sandra) Gorrell of Chicago, Illinois, and Stephen (Lovisa) Gorrell of Grand Rapids, Michigan; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Floyd (Carol) Sims of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Joann Sims of Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Albert Sims, Jr. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.  Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson/Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Steet, Hudson is assisting the family with arrangements.  Share memories or condolences at www.youngfamilyfuneralhome.com
