Marilyn Mae Mullinix, 85, of Kendallville, Indiana died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born May 27, 1938, in Muncie to Austen and Mary (Koger) Mullen.

Marilyn retired from Raytheon in Columbia City.

She enjoyed gardening, feeding hummingbirds, doing puzzles, and collecting antiques. Marilyn dearly loved Mt. Dew Icees.

Surviving are a son, James DeWayne (Lois) Mullinix of Kendallville; two grandchildren, Jamie (Toby) Rhodes of LaGrange and Joshua (Toni) Mullinix of LaGrange; two step grandchildren, Amanda Powell of Huntertown and Joseph Spillner of Indiana; two great-grandchildren, Kinsley Rhodes and Nathaniel Mullinix; a bonus great-grandson, Hunter Allen; and six step great-grandchildren, Laren Hitzeman of Fort Wayne, Kaidance Powell of Fort Wayne, Ryan Powell of Huntertown, Payton Powell of Huntertown, Adriyanna Spillner of Sturgis, Michigan, and Layne Spillner of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by several siblings.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie.
