Margie Evelyn Best, 84, of Blackman Lake, Wolcottville, Indiana, died Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.
She was born October 10, 1936, in Colquitt, Georgia, to James and Leona (Henry) Whitaker.
Mrs. Best was a homemaker.
Surviving are six children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Runell (Jack) Dugan of Colquitt, Georgia; and a brother, Charles (Linda ) Whitaker of Colquitt, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Best.
There will be no visitation or services.
Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville.
Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
