Calling: Friday, July 26, 2013 - after 4 p.m. in the church ****************************************************************** Marcella Shepherd, 69, of Wawaka died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 12:15 p.m. in Kendallville.

She has lived in this area 24 years, coming from Kentucky.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Shepherd was a member of the Full Gospel Revival Church in Rome City.

She was born September 29, 1944, in Martin, Kentucky, to William and Hattie (Conn) Kilburn.

Surviving are two sons, Bobby (Arizelia) Shepherd of Hudson and Kelvin (Catherine) Shepherd of Wawaka; seven grandchildren, Jessica Slone, Catherine Shepherd, Kyla Shepherd, Josh Shepherd, Keaton Shepherd, Denise Sizemore, and Durand Shepherd; 12 great grandchildren; three sisters, Annette (Purda) Hicks of Wawaka, Carol (Charles) Caudell of Wawaka, Mable (Junior) Hicks of Ligonier; and a brother, Mick (Deloris) Kilburn of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Shepherd in 1973; two sons, Timothy Shepherd and William David Shepherd; and three brothers, Joe Kilburn, Bill Kilburn, and Jessie Kilburn.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Full Gospel Revival Church in Rome City, with Pastor Purda Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery.

Calling is Friday, July 26, 2013, after 4 p.m. in the church.

Preferred memorials are to Full Gospel Revival Church.
