Obituary

Lucille "Lucy" Weaver, 91, of Kendallville died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, in her residence.

She was born February 2, 1925, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Robert Grady and Stella Mae (Swift) Dockery.

She married Robert Weaver, and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1993.

Mrs. Weaver retired after 38 years with Flint & Walling in Kendallville.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Surviving are a son, Richard Meadows in Kendallville; a daughter, Linda S. (Bill) Ehler of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Lindsey (Tyson) Davidson, Bradley A. Meadows, Dawn (Bob) Blum, Kristy Calvert, Brandy (Greg) Ness, and Brian Ehler; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, J.B. Dockery of Morgantown, Kentucky; two sisters, Bonnie (Sam) Kline of Kendallville and Betty Decker of Kendallville; and a nephew, Mark (Barbara) Schuyler of Kendallville.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Joyce Meadows; and ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be family only. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.
