Obituary

Lorine Sizemore, 86, of Wolcottville died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at 5:15 a.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She has resided in this area since 1952, coming from Kentucky. She was a homemaker.

She was born November 5, 1925, in Tazwell, Tennessee, to Hobert and Minnie (Green) Sulfridge. On March 2, 1943, she married Ethelbert "Hoover" Sizemore. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1976.

Surviving are four daughters, Pauline Sizemore of Avilla, Alva Jordan of Avilla, Cheryl (Pat) Barrett of Leo, and Myrlee (Wilton) Gray of Rome City; two sons, Rod (Karen) Sizemore of Fort Worth, Texas, and Robert Sizemore of Wolcottville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Sizemore of Kendallville; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline (L.G.) Martin of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Patricia Kriege of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two brothers, Bill (Joyce) Sulfridge of Berea, Kentucky, and Gene (Bobbie) Sulfridge of Kentucky.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Nevil Sizemore and Joe Sizemore; an infant daughter, Sharon Gail Sizemore; a daughter-in-law, Jeannie Sizemore; a brother, Jack Sulfridge; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor James Archambeault of New Life Tabernacle in Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.

Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
