Loretta McNamara, 68, of Auburn, Indiana, died Monday, October 31, 2022, at Auburn Village in Auburn.

She was born September 17, 1954, in Kendallville to Marion Dean and Norma Jean (Burch) Morr.

Loretta had worked at Kraft, DriveSol, Colwell, and in the mail room at the News Sun. As her parents aged, she became a homemaker to care for them.

She enjoyed taking care of orphaned wild animals, gardening and growing herbs, crocheting, and reading Stephen King books.

Surviving are a son, Dean (Stephanie) McNamara of Auburn; a daughter Angela (Kenny) Young of Kendallville; four grandchildren, Jarrett McNamara, Blayne McNamara, Kali Young, and Christopher Young; and a brother, Theodore (Fayanne) Morr of Golden Valley, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen McNamara; and a brother, Howard Morr.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Friday.
