Obituary

Lois Elaine Sites, 83, of Wolcottville died Friday, February 24, 2017, at 1:15 p.m. in Kendallville Manor Nursing & Rehab in Kendallville.

She was born June 20, 1933, in Sturgis, Michigan, to Clarence and Pansy (Reed) Gilbo.

Mrs. Sites was a homemaker.

She attended the First Baptist Church in Wolcottville.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah K. Owens of Wolcottville and Brenda Joy Sites of Wolcottville; a son, Mickie L. Lego of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lola (Floyd) Hodges of Sturgis, Michigan, Marilyn Burton of Branson, Missouri, and Sue (Bob) Jordan of LaGrange.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Don E. Lego and Perry J. Sites; two sons, Rickie J. Sites and Lenard W. Sites; one infant sister, Lila Mae Gilbo; and three brothers, David Gilbo, James Gilbo, and infant Billy Gilbo.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Wolcottville with Pastor Keith Perry officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Burr Oak, Michigan.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
