Lisa Ann Bolen, 57, of Wolcottville, Indiana died Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born November 21, 1966, in Hazard, Kentucky to John W. and Lovella (Johnson) Slone.

She married Ronnie Bolen, he survives in LaGrange.

Lisa loved to fish, go to church, and read her Bible as much as she could. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, which made her heart happy.

Surviving are two sons, Calvin G. (Chanel) Thomas of Mongo and Chris A. (Rachel) Thomas of Scottsburg; a daughter, Britney (TJ) Marcinkevicius of LaGrange; six grandchildren, Caleb, Leighla, Jonathon, Keziyah, Phoebe, and Amira; four sisters, Bobbie Jo (Scotty) Slone of Garner, Kentucky, Tammy (Tim) Slone of Kendallville, Reveda Carol (Jimmy) Huff of Wawaka, and Ruthie (Gerald Godsey) Mosley of Wolcottville; two brothers, Marty Slone of London, Kentucky and Walter (Tracy Walburn) Slone of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Slone and Lovella Slone Bolen and an infant brother, John Slone.

Visitation is Sunday, November 26, 2023, after 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday at Church of the Stone, 7270 South State Road 9, Wolcottville. There will be an evening service on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastors Mike and Abi Stanley officiating.

Burial will follow in Brushy Chapel Cemetery near LaGrange.

Casketbearers will be Chris Thomas, Caleb Thomas, TJ Marcinkevicius, Marty Slone, Walter Slone, Gerald Godsey, Tim Slone, and Jimmy Huff.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North is assisting the family with arrangements.
