Graveside Service: Friday, October 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Orange Cemetery, Rome City ******************************************************************************************** Linda L. Smith, 72, of Wolcottville died Saturday, October 19, 2013, in her residence.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Mrs. Smith worked at Wal-Mart in Kendallville for three years. Prior to that, she was a cook at the Lighthouse in Rome City for ten years.

She was born January 28, 1941, in Kendallville to Roy Acker, Sr. and Dorothy (Winebrenner) Acker.

In 1988, she married Roger L. Smith in Buffalo, Wyoming. He survives in Wolcottville.

Also surviving are two sons; three daughters and four stepsons; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.

Graveside services at Orange Cemetery, Rome City will be held Friday, October 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Clarence Combs officiating.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
