Lee Ronald Logan, 55, of Kendallville died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:05 p.m., in Indiana University Health Center, Goshen.

Mr. Logan was a lifetime area resident. He had previously worked at Starcraft for 23 years and for the past 13 years owned and operated Logan Cage & Supply in Kendallville.

He was a 4-H leader for 19 years and was a member of the Tri-State Netherland Dwarf Club.

He was born July 15, 1956, in Kendallville to Perry C. Logan, Sr. and Margaret Logan. He married Judith E. Meer on December 23, 1977.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah (Brian) Moreland of Kendallville; two sons, Josh Logan and Caleb Logan both of Kendallville; a sister Annette (David) Mains of Huntertown; two brothers, Perry C. (Laura) Logan, Jr. of Kendallville, Kent (Sherry) Logan of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Kaylah Logan, Sammy Logan, Lane Logan, Jedidiah Logan, and Ezra Moreland; two nieces, Maria (Greg) Christenson and Nicole (Kevin) Knafel; and two nephews, Ben (Deanna) Mains and Adam (Amy) Mains.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kay Berg in 2000.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, 2011, at 1 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Troy Diersing of the Ligonier Evangelical Church. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, near Kendallville.

Honorary casketbearers will be his grandchildren, Kaylah Logan, Sammy Logan, Lane Logan, Jedidiah Logan, and Ezra Moreland. Active casketbearers will be Jim Marker, Chuck Pelham, Dan Clouse, Tim Addis, Kevin Buuck, and Jeff Dick.

Calling is Thursday, September 15, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday.

Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran School, Kendallville in care of Lane Logan's tuition.
