Obituary

Lee Roy "Vern" Fry, 81, of LaGrange died Sunday, July 26, 2020, at 10:25 p.m. at his residence.

He was born July 3, 1939, in LaGrange to John and Donna (Shearer) Fry.

On October 22, 1966, in Rome City he married Karen Lou Heston.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965.

Mr. Fry retired from Sealed Power in LaGrange where he worked in quality control. He was also a farmer.

Surviving are his wife Karen Fry of LaGrange; a daughter, Shannon (Don) Harman of LaGrange; a son, Shane (Chauncey) Fry of West Lafayette; two grandchildren, Ailyn Fry and Austin Fry; a sister, Jeanne (Ray) McKercher of Sturgis, Michigan; and two brothers, Ronald (Retha) Fry of LaGrange and Tony Fry.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosanna Wise and Cecelia Myers; and two brothers, Johnny Fry and Jim Fry.

There will be no visitation or service.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
