No visitation or services at this time ******************************************************************************************* Lawrence James "Larry" Fleck, 64, of Rome City died Saturday, September 27, 2014, in Betz Nursing Home, Auburn.

He was a lifetime area resident, and a 1970 graduate of East Noble High School.

Mr. Fleck was a machinist at B & J Specialty in Kendallville.

Larry loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping and was an expert on wilderness survival.

He was born September 3, 1950, in Kendallville to Norman R. and Danita E. (Adams) Fleck.

On July 8, 1988, in Albion he married Carmen M. Huffman. She survives in Rome City.

Also surviving are a sister, Norma Allen of Evansville, Wisconsin; and a brother, Raymond Jess (Edna) Fleck of Rome City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Bill Allen; and a great-nephew, Samuel Joseph Falkner.

There will be no visitation or services.

Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
