Kobe Trey Gaiski, 27, of Angola, Indiana died peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne with his family at his side, after a sudden illness.
He was born May 16, 1998, in Angola to Jason and Stacie (Ickes) Gaiski.
Kobe was a material handler at Amcor in Fremont.
With a green thumb, he brought plants to life, and with a gentle heart, he cherished the loyal dogs who were always by his side. He was the best father and uncle, his girls, his nieces, and his nephews meant the world to him.
Kobe is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Gannon of Hudson; two daughters he thought that world of, Kashlynn and Hunter; his mother, Stacie Gaiski of Angola; his father, Jason (Jamie) Gaiski of Michigan; six siblings, Ian (Sarah) Gaiski of Ashley, Raven (Ryan) Gaiski of Hastings, Michigan, Ryder Blount of Angola, and Sophia, Joseph, and Lillionna of Michigan; five nieces and nephews, Cordelia, Camdyn, Cylas, Amara, and Hunter; maternal grandmother, Janet Ickes of Auburn; paternal grandparents, Pat and Tom Gaiski of Hastings, Michigan; an aunt, Amy Gaiski of Michigan; and four uncles, Troy (Angela) Ickes of Auburn, and Dan, Mike and Tom Gaiski of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Steve Ickes; an uncle, Steve Ickes, Jr.; and a cousin, Austin Gaiski.
Celebration of life services will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at SonLight Community Church, 455 North Gerald Lett Ave., Angola, Indiana.
Preferred memorials are to the family.
