Kim S. Willits, 69, Wolcottville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange.

She was born on January 2, 1957, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Michael D. and Leeanne Sue (Coney) Hackett, who preceded her in death.

Kim was a lifelong resident of the Adams Lake area and was a dedicated homemaker.

She was a devoted fan of Jeff Gordon and found great enjoyment in crocheting and working on jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Smith of Wolcottville and Jill (Blake) Hire of Wolcottville; six grandchildren, David (Stacy) Conley, Kirstin Conley, Shaylin Smith, Marissa (Jeremy) Peavey, Brooklynn Campbell, and Skyler Campbell; five great-grandchildren; her special friends, Allen (Marge Wagner-McClain) Willits of Wolcottville; and two sisters, Susan Jones of Wolcottville and Lisa Smith of Wolcottville.

Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.
