Kevin Samuel Leedy, 44, of Hudson died unexpectedly Thursday, August 16, 2018, at his residence.
He was born December 24, 1973, in Columbia City to Raymond Eugene and Diane (Jackson) Leedy,
On February 14, 2003, in Tennessee he married Terri J. Owens.
Mr. Leedy lived in Hudson since 2009, coming from Wolcottville.
He was employed at Forest River RV in LaGrange.
Kevin was happiest when spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved having family and friends over to cook outside, where he was fondly known at the "Grillmaster". Kevin's passion in life was to contribute to the youth in his community. He did this by coaching baseball for the last seven years in Hudson, Stroh, and for the Northern Indiana Elite.
Surviving are his wife, Terri Leedy of Hudson; a daughter, Britany Martin of LaGrange; four sons, Brandon (Kenzie) Martin of Fremont, Brady McNamara of Tennessee, Tyler McNamara of Topeka, and Kamden Leedy at home; four grandchildren, Cooper Martin, Kash Martin, Jersi Leedy, and Blair Saggars; his mother and stepfather, Diane and Jim Kline of Kendallville; three sisters, Deb Hasse of Georgia, Lisa (Kara Krothe) Leedy of Bloomington, and Emily (Scott) Kline-Furnas of Columbia City; four brothers, Steve (Michelli) Leedy of Nevada, Tom (Kerri) Leedy of Kendallville, Todd Kline of Kendallville, and James Kline of Kendallville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Greg Leedy.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Rev. Craig Burkholder of the Hudson United Brethren Church officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Barden, Jamie Sykes, Luke Miller, Dave Nissen, Joe Richard, and Davey Nissen.
Calling is Monday, August 20, 2018, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
Preferred memorials are to the Stroh Baseball League or to the family.
