Obituary

Kenneth R. Wallace, 64, of Waterloo died Sunday, July 22, 2007, in the Emergency Room of DeKalb Memorial Hospital, Auburn. He was born December 28, 1942, in Wayland, Kentucky, to Frieda Stanley. He lived most of his life in LaGrange County, and retired in 2006 from Fleetwood Homes in Garrett after working there for 15 years. He was married June 4, 1977, in Wolcottville to Sue Ritchie. She survives in Waterloo. Also surviving are four sons and one daughter-in-law, Keith and Sheryl Wallace of LaGrange; Kevin Wallace of LaGrange; Shawn Wallace of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and Jason Wallace of Waterloo; and six grandchildren, Lindsey Delancy, Cassie Wallace, Lukas Wallace, Kayla Wallace, Rusty Wallace and Gavin Wallace. He and his wife were also foster parents to over 100 young people. He was preceded in death by a son, his mother, and a brother. Services will be Thursday, July 26, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Community Baptist Church on County Road 700 South, Wolcottville with Rev. Lee Combs officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday after 3 p.m. at the church. Preferred memorials are to the family. Arrangements are by Young Family Funeral Home, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, Indiana 260-854-2251
