Obituary

Kenneth M. Jordan, 60, of LaGrange, Indiana died Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born March 31, 1966, in LaGrange to Robert and Suzanne (Gilbo) Jordan. They survive in LaGrange.

Kenny had a love for the simple pleasures in life and enjoyed spending his time doing the things he loved most. He had a passion for car racing and enjoyed the excitement and thrill it brought. Fishing and mushroom hunting were another favorite pastime, giving him the opportunity to explore nature and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. He also had a wonderful green thumb and took great pride in his garden. Kenny enjoyed tending to his plants, watching them grow, and seeing the fruits of his labor throughout the seasons. His garden was a reflection of the time, care, and love he put into everything he did. Whether he was enjoying his favorite hobbies or working in his garden, Kenneth found happiness in the things that made life special.

Above all, Kenny loved his grandchildren. They were his heart and meant the world to him, bringing him immeasurable joy and filling his life with love. He enjoyed spending precious time with his grandchildren

Also surviving are two daughters, Jacquelyn Jordan of Wolcottville and Kenzie (Bryan Baas) Jordan of Kendallville; a stepson, Rodney (Brooke) Owens of Kendallville; the mother of his children, Margaret Jordan of Wolcottville; seven grandchildren, Jaydyn Jackson, Aria Jackson, Myla Jackson, Sativa Charles, Harley Baas, Cameron Owens, and Cole Owens; a sister, Peggy Sue (Randy) Mueller of Garrett; two brothers, Scott (Lisa) Jordan of Wolcottville and Jeff (Traci) Jordan of LaGrange; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kylian Baas; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Pansey Gilbo; and paternal grandparents, Earl and Betty Jordan.

Celebration of life services will be Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Christian Baptist Church, 2838 E. Us Highway 6, Kendallville near the 6 & 9 North intersection.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
