Keith Allen Wooten, 76, of Wolcottville, Indiana, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born December 30, 1948, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Harry Arnold Wooten and Maxine (Lash) Taylor. His parents preceded him in death.

On December 27, 1982, in Dallas, Texas, he married Ann E. Snow.

Mr. Wooten had worked at numerous factories in the area, but enjoyed his job as an Amish taxi driver the best.

Keith enjoyed woodworking and music. He enjoyed playing the slide guitar in his youth. He was extremely artistic and loved working on cars. He was an avid Notre Dame fan.

Surviving are three daughters, Rachel Schenher of Fort Wayne, Aimee (Ronnie) Howard of Topeka, and Holly (Darrel Button) Wooten of Rome City; a son, Wyatt (Dawn) Wooten of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a stepson, Greg (Melissa) Klett of Kentucky; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; three sisters, Theresa (Marc) Guenin of Kendallville, Margery Taylor of Wolcottville, and Sandy (Greg) Cox of Kendallville; three brothers, Michael (Marcia) Wooten of Wawaka, Randy (Brenda) Wooten of Ashley, and Steve (Arlene) Wooten of Coldwater, Michigan.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ann Wooten in 2003; and a brother, Gary Wooten in 2022.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.

Keith's funeral service will be Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
