Obituary

Kay L. Lash, 57, of Kendallville died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. in her residence.

She was a lifetime area resident, and a graduate of Prairie Heights High School.

Kay had worked at Arden and Bollhoff Rivnut, both in Kendallville.

She was a member of Kendallville Moose Lodge 1301.

She was born August 28, 1954, in Kendallville to Jack and Sandra (Drerup) Spillner. On May 22, 2002, in Charlotte, North Carolina, she married Colin "Butch" Lash. He survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Trent and Heidi Buhl of Fort Wayne and Adam and Tanya Buhl of Auburn; a daughter, Meredith Campbell of Albion; a stepdaughter, Kelley Lash of Angola; ten grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert E. and Wendy Spillner of Kendallville and Chuck and Judy Spillner of Fairfield, Ohio; and a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jeff Allen of Big Long Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2012, at 7 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. Burial will be at a later date.

Calling is Friday, June 8, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
