Julia E. Dunlap, 81, of Wolcottville, Indiana died Friday, December 27, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born November 11, 1943, in Sturgis, Michigan to Harold L. and Lucille I. (Feller) Penn.

On February 13, 1960, in LaGrange, she married David A. Dunlap.

Julia had worked at Sealed Power in LaGrange for 20 years until their closure. She then worked at Abbott in Sturgis, Michigan and retired form Ross Lab in Sturgis.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed sewing, reading, and shopping.

Julia had attended Ontario Church until it's closing.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, David A. Dunlap of Wolcottville; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Wilbur Mast of Howe; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathy Collins; a son, Sheldon Dunlap; a granddaughter, Joie Marie Yanke; a great-grandson, Jayden White; and a brother, Sheldon Penn.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.
