Obituary

Juanita C. Masters, 85, of LaGrange died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 2:54 am in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne where she had been a patient since Tuesday.

Mrs. Masters was a homemaker. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She was born August 26, 1923, in Arcola, Indiana, to James and Maud (Denner) Clifford. On November 22, 1961, in Rome City she married Robert J. Masters. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1998.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Wesley and Mildred Boyles of Florida, Darwin and Barbara Boyles of Rome City, Robert and Marcia Masters of Kansas, and Larry Boyles of Florida; three daughters, Marcia and John Kitchen of Rome City, Debbie and Kenneth Monthie of Iowa, and Donna and Arthur Atwater of Howe; two daughters-in-law, Sandra Boyles of Rome City and Sally Boyles of LaGrange; 32 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, a son, David Boyles, and a grandson, Wesley Boyles, Jr.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 20, 2009, at 10 am in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, with Pastor Brian VanOsdol of the First Church of God in LaGrange officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.

Casketbearers will be Robert Boyles, Todd Boyles, John Kitchen, Brian Boyles, Chris Boyles, and David Atwater.

Calling is Sunday, July 19, 2009, from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home.
