Obituary

Joy Triplett, 88, of Fort Wayne died Friday, April 26, 2019, at Majestic Care of West Allen in Fort Wayne.

She was born October 3, 1930, in Fort Wayne to Lloyd W. and Jessie Fern (Graham) Worth.

Having lived most of her adult life in Missouri, she worked as a Realtor. After moving back to Fort Wayne, she worked as a seamstress for Vera Bradley.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Missouri.

Surviving are a sister, Juanita Haynes of Fort Wayne and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Smith, Jr.; a daughter, Karen Kay Smith; her second husband, Gilbert Triplett; two sisters, Jean Spalding and Thelma Jane Worth; and four brothers, Forest Worth, Lowell Worth, Roger Worth, and Keith Worth.

There will be no visitation or services.

Private burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna.

Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson is assisting the family with arrangements.
