Obituary

Joshua Cain Hamilton, 38, of Ashley died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Parkview DeKalb Hospital emergency room in Auburn.

He was born May 19, 1982, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to Roy R. and Vonda Hamilton.

He was employed at SCP Limited in Auburn.

Josh loved all sports, but especially enjoyed watching football.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Vonda and Michael Tuttle of Ashley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy R. Hamilton; and his sister, Angela L. "Angie" Hamilton-Tuttle.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Stroh United Baptist Church with Terry Tuttle and Jamie Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow at Brushy Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, January 26, 2021, after 4 p.m. and Wednesday, January 27, 2021, after 4 p.m. at the church. An evening service will be at 6 p.m. both nights.

Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson is assisting the family with arrangements.
