Joseph Eugene "Joe" Shibler, 61, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, died Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Lakeland Rehab & Healthcare Center in Angola.

He was born February 21, 1962, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Harold and Lucille (Herman) Shibler.

He had worked as a supervisor at Bostwick & Braun in Ashley.

Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool at Joe's Place in Ashley.

Surviving are two brothers, John Shibler of Pleasant Lake and Anthony "Tony" Shibler of Indiana; a sister, Kimberly "Kim" Clouse of Ashley; his stepfather, Ed Dudley of Ashley; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Shibler; his mother, Lucille Dudley; and three sisters, Debbie Shibler, Christine "Chris" Frick, and Dawn Shibler.

There will be no visitation or services.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned at a later date at Joe's Place in Ashley. The family will post the service date and time on Facebook.

Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson is assisting the family with arrangements.
