Obituary

Joseph S. Blackwood, 58, of Angola died Sunday, August 22, 201, at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.

He was born March 20, 1963, in Garden City, Michigan, to Leonard and Josephine (Guzzetti) Blackwood. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Blackwood had been a factory worker.

Surviving are two sisters, Teresa Edwards and Victoria Martin; and four brothers, Thomas Blackwood, William Blackwood, Randolph Blackwood, and Christopher Blackwood.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Deborah Blackwood and Cynthia Maitland; and a brother, Ronald Blackwood.

There will be no visitation or services.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery at Onaway, Michigan.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
