Obituary

Jonathon Anthony "Jon" Schuster, 63, of Sylvan Lake, Rome City, Indiana, died Thursday, November 4, 2021, at his residence.

He was born July 29, 1958, in Kendallville to Harold "Jerry" and Margaret (Butts) Schuster.

On September 22, 2009, at Sylvan Lake he married Connie A. Landez.

Mr. Schuster previously worked as a sales representative for RC Cola. He retired as co-owner and general manager of WAWK 95.5 FM The Hawk radio in Kendallville. He also was a salesman for WAWK and radio stations in Auburn and Ligonier.

Surviving are his wife, Connie Schuster of Rome City; a daughter, Amanda (Brad) Braman of Grand Rapids, Michigan; a stepdaughter, Nicole Teeple of Rome City; a stepson, Jeffrey L. Teeple, Jr. of Avilla; two grandchildren, Cole Braman and Natalie Braman; four step grandchildren; and a brother, Don Schuster of LaPorte.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepdaughter, Debra Sprau; and two step grandchildren, Skylar Sprau and Destiney Sprau.

A graveside service will be Friday, November 5, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
