Obituary

Johnie Conley, 65, of Rome City died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at his son's home in Burr Oak, Michigan.

Mr. Conley retired as a truck driver.

He was born March 28, 1946, in Floyd County, Kentucky. On August 22, 1966, in Shelby, Ohio, he married Shirley A. Couch.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley A. Conley; a daughter, Melissa Conley of Howe; two sons, Johnie Conley of Burr Oak, Michigan, and Duane Edwin (Ada) Conley of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 17, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Church of the True God north of South Milford with Pastor Olie Smith and Pastor Charlie Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.

Calling is Saturday, October 15, 2011, after 2 p.m. and all day Sunday, October 16, 2011, at the church. An evening service will be held at 6 p.m. both nights.
