Obituary

John William Stuck, 82, of Angola died Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 3:20 p.m. in I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

He had resided in Angola since 2001, coming from Kendallville.

Mr. Stuck retired in 1997 from Kraft Foods in Kendallville after working there for 30 years.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960 and in the National Guard from 1960 to 1963.

He was born July 2, 1935, in Van Wert, Ohio, to George F. and Rose Christine (Shaw) Stuck.

On June 27, 1964, in Auburn he married Linda Ellen Sanderson. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2014.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie Christine "Chris" and Darren Wagner of Angola and Faith Aprilrose "April" Stuck of Avilla; a son, Jeffrey Stuck of California; two grandchildren, Tony (Melinda) Wagner and Katelynd Heuts; four great-grandchildren, Julia Binns, Genieve Heuts, Amy Heuts, and Lucille Wagner; and three sisters, Bonita Becher of Fremont, Mary Eldridge of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Georgia Lang of Beaver Creek, Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Chapman and Virginia Calkins and a brother, Franklin G. Stuck.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Quent Zimmerman officiating.

Private family burial will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
