John Marshall Sillaway, Jr., 82, of LaOtto, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  He was born March 9, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to John Marshall and Julia (Telgman) Sillaway. On May 13, 1983, in Kendallville he married Donna Kelley. Mr. Sillaway retired from Shambaugh & Sons in Fort Wayne where he was a journeyman electrician. He was a member of IBEW Local 305 Marshall enjoyed restoring International Harvester trucks, mowing, and yard work.  He thoroughly enjoyed his manly-man trips to the U.P.  Surviving are his wife, Kelley Sillaway of LaOtto; a son, Timothy Sillaway of Kendallville; a daughter, Dana (Gary) Timmerman of Avilla; five grandchildren, Ciera Sillaway of Fort Wayne, Drew Sillaway of Kendallville, Megan (Damien) Disque of Auburn, Samantha (Adam) Taulbee of Kendallville, and Katie (Ben) Woodward of Avilla; and seven great-grandchildren.  There will be no visitation or services.   Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.  Preferred memorials may be directed to LaOtto Fire and Rescue, 11595 E.
