John A. Fey, 79, of Adams Lake, Wolcottville died Monday, July 11, 2011, in Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange.
Mr. Fey was a lifetime area resident. He graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne.
He was an automobile salesman working at Northway Chrysler Plymouth in Fort Wayne, LaGrange County Dodge in LaGrange; and Ben Davis Chevrolet in Auburn.
John honorably served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 381, Rome City, and attended Messiah Lutheran Chruch, Wolcottville.
He was born February 28, 1932, in Fort Wayne to Harold and Virginia (Eckert) Fey. In October, 2003, he married Corienne "Corky" (Mason) Graham.
Surviving are his wife, Corienne "Corky" Fey of Adams Lake; two sons, Tom (Joann) Fey of Shriner Lake and Danny Fey of South Bend; four daughters, Beth (Jeff) Huntine of Fort Wayne, Rebecca Fey of Albion, Kathy Marker of Churubusco, and Cynthia (Justin) Rhodes of LaGrange; three stepsons, Bobby (Cindy) Graham of Troy, Ohio, Duke (Kim) Graham of Columbia, North Carolina, and Mitch Graham of LaGrange; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Duane and Barbara Mason of Hudson, Stanley Mason of Columbus, Mississippi, Brad and Carol Bearman of Fishers, and Tonnette Sheets of Pensecola, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Fey and Virginia Filler; a grandson, Brian Fey; a stepdaughter, Yvonne Graham; a sister, Jackie George; a brother-in-law, Franklin George; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Behrer.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Rev. James Tews of Messiah Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery. Honor guard services will be provided by American Legion Post 381.
Calling is Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 3 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
