Obituary

Jimmy Dwayne O'Quinn, 58, of Hudson died Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born June 24, 1960, in Gary to Roy and Barbara (Tryon) O'Quinn. They preceded him in death.

On August 8, 1981, he married Leann M. Witham. She survives in Hudson.

Mr. O'Quinn had worked at T I Automotive in Ashley. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Angola and served on the Hudson Fire Department for 11 years.

Jimmy was an avid waterfowl hunter and bass fisherman. Being very active, Jimmy enjoyed riding his horse, Cassey, being outdoors, and helping others. He dearly loved his grandchildren.

Also surviving are a daughter, Brenda (Andy) Mast of Hudson; a son, Thomas (Stephanie) O'Quinn of Hudson; four grandchildren, Odessa Casselman, Bradley O'Quinn, Ella Cumings, and Draven Cumings; and a sister, Madonna (Dan) Haight of Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 925 N 200 W, Angola with Pastor Robert Koeing officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Thomas O'Quinn, Andy Mast, Dan Barrand, Randy Batchelder, Amos Skelly, and Steve Franks.

Calling is Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
