Obituary

Jimmy Isbell, 55, of Wolcottville died Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 5:25 a.m. in the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.

He was a lifetime area resident.

Mr. Isbell worked in the steel industry. He was also a musician, and, at one time, had his own band.

He was born March 21, 1961, in LaGrange to Merle and Edna (Skaggs) Isbell. They preceded him in death.

On April 22, 2016, in Wolcottville he married Joan E. (Bloomfield) Keck. She survives in Wolcottville.

Also surviving are two sons, Tyler (Jaime) Isbell of North Liberty and Jesse Isbell of Plymouth; a daughter, Anastasia Isbell of South Bend; a stepson, Eric Keck of Angola; four granddaughters, Haylee, Mariayh, Nevaeh, and Aaliya; and six step-grandchildren, Kinsey, Kota, Skyler, Marissa, Austin, and Madelyn.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jerome Isbell, David Isbell, Rocky Isbell, and Ed Isbell.

Per Jimmy's wishes, there will be no calling or services at this time. A celebration of life service is being planned for a later date.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
