Obituary

Jerry Wayne Dickerson, 70, of South Milford, Indiana, died Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Chandler Place in Kendallville.

He was born July 31, 1950, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Melvin H. and Dorothy J. (Robinson) Dickerson.

He retired from Flint & Walling Mfg. in Kendallville after 42 years.

Mr. Dickerson was a long-time member of the True Church of God in Jesus Name at Lisbon where he served as an elder, deacon, and an ordained minister.

Surviving are two nieces, Cathy (Ronald) Deter of South Milford and Kristie Beedle of Camden, Michigan; a nephew, Mark Beedle; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruthann Hurst and Sandra Beedle; a brother-in-law, Nicholas Beedle; and a nephew, John Lankford.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at South Milford Cemetery with Lawrence Shepherd officiating.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
