Obituary

Jerald T. "Jerry" Chlebus, 77, of Witmer Lake, Wolcottville died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 7:15 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He retired as a police officer for Rome City.

Mr. Chlebus honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam.

He was a member of VFW Post 2749 and American Legion Post 381.

He was born June 6, 1935, in Jackson, Michigan, to Joseph and Alice (Kotarski) Chlebus.

Surviving are two daughters, Amy Chlebus of Sturgis and Sharon McDonald of Albion; a son, Thomas Chlebus of Surgis; two grandchildren; and a brother, Jerome Chlebus.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no viewing or service.
