Obituary

Jennifer Sue Zehr, 42, of Kendallville died Friday, May 13, 2016, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She had lived in this area for 20 years, coming from Fort Wayne. She was a graduate of Northrup High School in Fort Wayne.

Ms. Zehr had worked at Courier, now R.R. Donnelley in Kendallville for the last 17 years.

Jennifer loved to garden and do crafts. Her greatest joy was in helping others.

She was born May 25, 1973, in Fort Wayne to James and Susan (Meeks) Zehr. Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are her companion, Kyle Walker of Kendallville; a brother, James (Amy) Zehr of Kendallville; paternal grandmother, Mabel Zehr of Fort Wayne; a niece, Ashley Zehr; and two nephews, Bailey Zehr and Brody Zehr.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 5 p.m. in the worship center at St. John Lutheran Church, 301 South Oak Street, Kendallville with Rev. Dr. Robert Shriner officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
