Jennifer Reed Combs, 60, of Stroh, Indiana died Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born March 6, 1966, in Martin, Kentucky to Willard and Isabell (Fugate) Scott.

On May 26, 2007, in Brushy Prairie, LaGrange County, she married Matthew Combs. He survives in Stroh.

Jennifer was a devoted homemaker whose life centered around faith, family, and simple joys. She attended Helmer Independent Baptist Church.

She loved canning, browsing garage sales for hidden treasures, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Bailey and Marty. Above all, she cherished every moment with her grandchildren and her granddog, who brought her endless happiness.

Also surviving are a daughter, Lindsay (Jason Mathews) Reed of Stroh; a son, Joshua (Kati) Reed of Steuben County; a stepdaughter, Alyssa (Isaac Broom) Combs of Sturgis, Michigan; two stepsons, Brian (Julie) Combs of LaGrange and Eric (Peter) Combs of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Tricen, Bennet, Aubrey, and Kendall; six sisters, Sabrina (Patrick) Colwell of Auxier, Kentucky, Margaret (Ronnie) Rice of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Leona Hall of Marshall, Michigan; Bertha (Jack) Spears of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Edna Blackburn of Garrett, Kentucky; and Rita Scott of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; and a brother, Larry (Maxine) Scott of Garrett, Kentucky.

She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Sharon Hatfield.

The family will have a private celebration of life.
