Obituary

Jeffrey W. Zody, 46, of Kendallville died Monday, September 7, 2009, at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

Mr. Zody was a maintenance manager at Griffith Rubber in Garrett. He was a member of the U.S. Army and served in Desert Storm. He was a member of the Northwest Ohio Blacksmith Association and was a board member of the Mid-America Windmill Museum in Kendallville.

He was born October 1, 1962, in Rochester. On April 6, 1987, in Hartford City, he married Leslie Rodgers.

Surviving are his wife, Leslie Zody of Kendallville; two sons Navar Zody and Zackery Zody, both at home; his mother, Margaret Moore of Kendallville; his father, Wayne Zody of Michigan; two sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 11, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Jeanne Koughn officiating.

Calling will be Thursday, September 10, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
