Jeffrey Clayton “Jeff” Sutton, 61, of Kendallville, Indiana died unexpectedly Friday, June 5, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born September 21, 1964, in Kendallville to Delmer Clayton and Bonnie (Price) Sutton.

Jeff passed away leaving behind a life defined by motion, horsepower, and heart. A true enthusiast, he found joy in RC cars, race days, and his beloved ’84 Camaro — passions that shaped his days and brought him endless excitement. When he wasn’t at the track, Jeff could be found on his front porch, taking in the world with the calm contentment that made him so easy to love. He will be remembered for his devotion to the things he loved and the simple, steady presence he brought to those around him.

Surviving are a sister, Tammy (Richard) Henschen of South Milford; and two brothers, Troy (Dawn) Sutton of Kendallville and Ronnie (Amy) Sutton of Kendallville; a niece, Destynie; a nephew, Dillon; two stepdaughters, Phyllis (Doug) Arnold of South Milford and Sarah Shepherd Rome City; and several grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Brandon Bentley for going above and beyond for Jeff. Always ready to lend a hand, offer help when it was needed most, and share countless days at the races.

Per Jeff’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Preferred memorial are to the family for expenses.
